Tea Alania, originally from the
Republic of Georgia, is responsible for international Project
Management & Development, as well as formulation and assessment
of legal and regulatory frameworks for IOS Partners technical
assistance projects. Ms. Alania has over 10 years of successful
international project management experience working with
different Clients around the world. She has worked closely with
various multilateral organizations, consulted foreign
governments on different aspects of international law. Ms.
Alania holds M.A. in International Relations, Degree in
International Law from Tbilisi State University in the Republic
of Georgia, as well as B.A. in International Relations and
Diplomacy. Ms. Alania is currently a PhD candidate in
international law. She fluently speaks Georgian, Russian,
English and Spanish, and has good understanding of French. Ms.
Alania has extensive professional experience of working in
Armenia, Belarus, France, Georgia, Madagascar, Moldova, Mali,
Maldives, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom.
Ms. Alania has worked successfully these
past years with IOS developing and managing a large number of projects.
She is currently engaged in a number of technical assistance projects
including the development of institutional and regulatory framework for
the Industrial Park project in Mali (MCC), the development of a set of
regulations and policies for the Government of Moldova for its Debt
Management Project and the development of a national wine strategy for
the Republic of Georgia. Ms. Alania participated in the successful
completion of IOS Partners’ project in Russia for the Development of
Capital Market Reform and creation of more favorable regulatory regime
in the Russian Federation for attracting foreign investment and
increasing investor confidence in the country.
