Komal Sood - Regional Project Coordinator

Ms. Sood, a native of Kenya, serves as the Regional Project Coordinator for East and Southern Africa at IOS Partners’ headquarters in Miami, Florida.  She has been managing several international development projects throughout the African continent, including several of the firm's current and recent assignments in Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.  Ms. Sood is currently engaged in the development of a costing system for the Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority.  She was most recently involved in the mid-term evaluation of USAID/Senegal's Economic Growth Program managed by IRG. 

Ms. Sood also contributes to drafting due diligence, liaising with international donor agencies, subcontractor companies, and other relevant stakeholders, and drawing recommendations on issues pertinent to the firm’s communication and marketing strategies.  She is well conversant in Kiswahili and conversant in Hindi and Punjabi.

Ms. Sood holds an MBA degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.  Ms. Sood has worked in Kenya and Washington DC for the renowned microfinance organization, The Grameen Foundation and in Phoenix, Arizona for a dynamic interactive advertising company, Sitewire Marketspace Solutions, Inc.
